Emma is having a piano recital next week, so we decided to make some fun little invitations for it! They are very simple and were so fun to make!
We used blank cards that we bought in the $1 section at Target. Yay Target!
With a ruler and a pencil, draw a horizontal line across the middle of the card. Then draw many short vertical lines going to the bottom from the horizontal line. Mine were all between 1/4 and 1/2 an inch wide.
Then, cut up the short vertical lines to the long horizontal line.
Next, cut some thin short strips of black paper and glue them onto the "keyboard" you just created.
Finish by going over the horizontal line with a Sharpie marker to make it pop.
There you have it! One sweet little piano recital invite all ready to be filled out!
This was a fun little project to work on with my lovely daughter. Perfect for the rainy afternoon we were enjoying. She also made sure we had our tea to keep us cozy. :) She is the definition of feminine, for sure! What a sweet!:)
